These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EdgeMaker Card, a digital name card service provided by EdgeMaker.io ("EdgeMaker," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating a card, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
EdgeMaker Card lets you create a digital name card with a shareable link or QR code containing your contact details and social links. An EdgeMaker.io account additionally provides optional features such as chat bot integrations with WhatsApp and LinkedIn, a CRM for managing contacts, and community engagement tools.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your card or account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Authentication is handled by our third-party identity provider; you also agree to that provider's applicable terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to impersonate another person, share unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, distribute spam or malware, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or remove any card or account that violates these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the name, bio, photo, and links you add to your card. By publishing a card, you grant EdgeMaker a limited license to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish.
5. Third-party integrations
Features that connect to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or other third-party platforms are subject to those platforms' own terms and availability. EdgeMaker is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or content originating from third-party services.
6. Free and paid features
Core card creation and sharing is free to use. Some advanced features (such as chat bot integrations, CRM, and community tools) may require an EdgeMaker.io account and could be modified, limited, or offered on paid plans in the future; we will communicate any material changes in advance.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your card at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or to protect the integrity of the service.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeMaker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
